Awareness Saves Lives. Get Screened.

Prostate Awareness Bermuda exists to break the silence around men’s health, encourage early screening, and support men and their families through diagnosis, treatment, and beyond.

About Prostate Awareness Bermuda

Prostate Awareness Bermuda is a support group for men.

Our mission is to provide support to men who have issues related to the prostate — including, but not limited to, being diagnosed, being treated, or rehabilitating from a prostate-related condition. That could be prostate cancer, or BPH (benign prostatic hyperplasia, commonly known as an enlarged prostate).

The group

PAB has approximately 50 members. We are a community of men and supporters who come together to discuss men’s health in a safe, judgement-free forum. Meeting times and venue are listed in the Events section.

Advocacy

In addition to our support role, PAB intends to become an advocate for equal treatment for men’s health.

Why we partner

Government has a stated commitment to data-driven policy development. To that end, we have partnered with the DailyMale Free Clinic, MASC, and CariGenetics to encourage cutting-edge research, community engagement, and education. We hope these relationships will provide decision-makers with the empirical information needed to develop appropriate policies and programmes — because preventative initiatives are far more cost-effective than reacting to acute medical treatment.
